Humashi: EU Guarantee Notice privacy policy
Humashi: EU Guarantee Notice ("the app") is provided by Humashi Labs, a sole proprietor based in Japan ("we"). This policy explains what information the app handles when a Shopify merchant installs it.
Information we collect
When you install the app, Shopify gives us the following, which we keep so the app can open in your Shopify admin:
- your store's myshopify.com domain
- an access token for your store, with its expiry date and granted permissions
The app requests no access scopes. It does not read or store your customers' personal information, your orders, your products or any payment information.
Your storefront visitors
The app adds the European Commission's harmonised legal guarantee notice to your storefront through a theme app extension. It does not set cookies, does not track visitors and sends no visitor information to us. The notice images are served by Shopify. The notice links to the European Commission's Your Europe website, which has its own privacy policy.
How we use the information
We use your store domain and access token only to authenticate you when you open the app in your Shopify admin. We do not sell or share them.
Where it is stored
The app runs on Cloudflare Workers, and the information above is stored in Cloudflare Workers KV. Cloudflare, Inc. processes it on our behalf and may store it in data centres outside your country, including in the United States.
How long we keep it
When you uninstall the app, Shopify notifies us and we delete your store's access token. We also delete anything remaining for your store when Shopify sends a shop data erasure request, 48 hours after uninstall.
Your rights
You can ask us to access or delete the information we hold about your store by emailing humashilabs@gmail.com. We do not hold personal information about your customers, so customer data requests forwarded by Shopify need no action from us.
Changes
We will update the date at the top of this page when we change this policy.
